Week #76 of 103 – HAVE

Thank you for joining me and welcome back to my blog. The official site of Word Vibration of the Week (WVOW). My intention for this blog is to create a community where we can share our thoughts and ideas about how words resonant with

I have always been fascinated with the idea that words carry a certain vibration, an energy of their own. My fascination is fueled by the idea that two words having similar meanings can feel vastly different energetically. I wanted to know how particular words landed on other people. Do they feel a word’s individual character like I do?
Do other people notice how the words we use, in large part, create the experience we are having? I decided to write random words, 103 to be exact, on pieces of paper. I folded them into little squares and tossed them into a bowl. Each week I will draw a new word and post how this word feels to me, energetically. These words are the basis for my interactive post(s), “Word Vibration of the Week.” I invite you to join me each week and share how each WVOW lands on you.

Week #76 – HAVE

HAVE in its noun form is defined as “people with a lot of money and posessions.”

Over the last couple of weeks we have moved through the dense energy of Need, into the lighter energy of Get and as a result the experience of HAVE is the reward.

HAVE in this form vibrates as achievement and self-satisfaction. I have stepped into the energy that says I BE-lieve in myself, I am DO-ing the steps to HAVE what I want.

HAVE’s vibration is more than just possessing things, it possesses a sense of Self that trusts in the ability to make HAVE happen whenever and wherever one chooses.

Week #75 of 103 – GET (Need version 2.0)

Week #75 – GET (AKA Need version 2.0)

Last week’s word, need, intricately involved the concept of GET. Sooooo when I pulled GET this week I thought “How weird is that? Is this one of those coincidences that’s no coincidence!? I mean really, what are the odds?” Instantly I heard “Lather, rinse, repeat. Lather, rinse, repeat.”

So back by popular demand…. and because we GET to ponder this concept a little more….

Many of you who work with me have often heard me say “need is an obligation, ‘GET’ is an opportunity.”

Rather than thinking I need to do something, I tell myself I ‘GET’ to do/feel/be something and a sense of excitement starts to stir.  When I feel I need (fill in the blank) its obligation/duty and even its loss begin their forward motion.

So how does the frequency of need vs GET effect your love relationships? When I choose that I ‘GET’ to love you rather than I need to love you it requires no action from you. When I need you to love me I am unconsciously requiring you to fill holes in my emotional body. Construction workers fill holes, not lovers! GETTING to love you, means I know how to love me – or at the very least – I am learning.
